THE PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT IS NOW HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING SUMMER SEASONAL POSITIONS:
SENIOR CAMP COUNSELORS - FT 40 hours per week
Counselors are primarily responsible for the care of their cabin group. Counselors spend most of their day accompanying their group to various activities. During activity periods these counselors attend and participate in each activity that the group does. Senior Camp Counselors are 18 and older staff members who provide the overall supervision for their assigned bunk. Counselors are needed at Naticook Day Camp, Camp Trek and Part Time at Naticook Jr. Adventures Pre-School program.
Responsible for staffing the Wasserman Park Beach on weekends as scheduled; enforcing park rules and cleaning the grounds near the waterfront on a daily basis. Candidates should have good character, integrity, be punctual and be able to effectively and diplomatically deal with park users. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and able to work independently. Position works Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00 - 6:00 pm from Late June - Late August.

The minimum age for any paid position with the Town of Merrimack is 16.
