Join us on Wednesday Nights this summer for our Free Annual Summer Concert Series at Abbie Griffin Park. Concerts will be held weekly from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and will feature a variety of musical performances including Oldies, Swing, Rhythm & Blues & Classic Rock music and more to fill the air! Don’t forget to bring your family & friends, blankets & chairs, & dinner to enjoy this free concert series.

JUNE 28TH - NASHVILLE RECORDING ARTIST - MYCHAEL DAVID
Mychael David's band is a mix of rockin' country, rhythm and blues combined with a lot of class.  The group features some of New Englands premier musicians. High energy show consisting of Mychaels original music combined with a mix of country hits, old and new, by artists that have inspired the group. Mychael's songs "Nothin'", "Smoke and Ash", and "Long Hard Road" were all on the Billboard Country Charts, and Mychael has been nominated and won many Country Music Awards. 


JULY 12TH - NEGATIVE TWO
A rock music cover band consisting of a group of 14-15 year old Music award winning Merrimack students. Negative Two has played the last two years at Merrimack Rocks, and the Nashua Holiday Stroll before a crowd of hundreds. They have also played at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston as part of the Young Performers Club.


JULY 19TH -RON ESKINE - NEIL DIAMOND TRIBUTE SHOW

Ron Eskine has been thrilling Neil Diamond fans with his sound-alike tribute shows throughout New England for almost twenty years, bringing the excitement of a live Neil Diamond stage performance to function halls, homes, stadiums, and outdoor bandstands, for private parties as well as for shows open to the public.


JULY 26TH -ANNIE AND THE ORPHANS

One of New England's favorite rock and roll acts, Annie & the Orphans has been entertaining fans, young and old, for over 50 years. Specialists in 50s, 60s and 70s rock and roll, Annie & the Orphans’ unique blend of musical talent and showmanship make them one of the most eagerly anticipated acts around


AUGUST 2ND -OVERDRIVE HORNS

Overdrive is an eight-piece band with a tight and incredibly funky rhythm section as the driving force behind a killer four-piece horn section that features two trumpets, woodwinds, and trombone. Dance music from the past three decades, music by Chicago, Tower of Power, the Average White Band, all the number one brass-rock hits, and a large selection of swing and songs from the Stax and Motown eras make up an exciting and exhausting performance.


AUGUST 9TH -SIXTIES INVASION

This show band features the music of the sixties. Sit back as the band takes you back to the days of Elvis, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan
and more. Music, trivia, nostalgia - it’s all sixties!


AUGUST 16TH -RICK GOLDIN

For over twenty years Rick Goldin’s lively, interactive and humorous children’s songs have made him one of the most popular children’s entertainers in New England. Children love his live performances because they get to sing, dance and jump along with Rick and his singing animal puppets.This concert is held in partnership with the Merrimack Public Library.

In the event of Inclement Weather on the day of a concert; check the status of the concert by going to our Facebook Page or the Parks & Recreation website. A decision will generally be posted by 1:00 pm whether the concert will be held that day or postponed until later in the season. We will also send a message out via our Email Newsletter regarding the status of the Concert
