Seven Tennis Courts


  • The Wasserman Park Town Beach shall be for the exclusive use of Merrimack residents. Non-resident visitors are permitted to use the area only when accompanied by a Merrimack resident.  Only Merrimack Residents may park in the Waterfront Parking Lot and vehicles must have a valid parking pass. Passes shall consist of either a valid Merrimack Transfer Station Sticker (Available at the Town Clerk's Office) or a rear view mirror placard which is available from the Town Clerk's Office or the Parks & Recreation Department.
  • No alcohol.
  • No smoking.
  • No profane language.
  • Pets must remain on a leash.
  • Dogs are prohibited from beach and designated swimming area between June 15th - August 31st  per NH DES Regulation Env-Wq 905.07 (b)(2)
  • No glass bottles.
  • No floats in the water.
  • Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult.
  • No fishing off the docks.
  • No pushing people off the docks.
  • No littering.
  • No Off-road vehicles.
  • No hanging on people in the water.
  • No swimming outside the swimming area.
  • No diving off the docks.
  • Everyone must follow the lifeguard instructions.
  • Park hours are from sunrise to sunset
  • No person shall discharge firearms in any park.
  • Camp Fires are only permitted in limited circumstances and require individual to obtain permission from the Parks & Recreation Department and a permit from the Fire Department.



Beach Information:
Lifeguards on duty from 8:30 - 3:30 pm; Mondays - Fridays between June 25th - August 17th. Outside of these hours, swimming is at your own risk.


Water quality samples are taken on a weekly basis beginning in June and continuing thru August of each year to ensure it is safe for swimming and results are sent to the NH Department of Environmental Services. (Any number under 88 =  safe to swim).


The results of the weekly water quality test results for Aug 14, 2018 are as follows:
-Wasserman Park was 18.9 at the dock and 18.7 at the beach.

Located at 116 Naticook Road, our Town's beautiful Park has something for everyone.  Wasserman Park offers extensive public recreational opportunities including picnicking, swimming, fishing, tennis, volleyball, basketball, ball fields, and the Norma French Memorial Playground on 46.39 acres of land.  Walking access to Horse Hill Nature Preserve can be gained via the Quarry Trail, which leads from the north parking lot through the Wasserman Conservation Area.
